USS Wisconsin Special Event Station

The USS Wisconsin Radio Club will operate a special event station on Saturday, September 26th and Sunday, September 27th, 2009 to commemorate the final decommissioning, her third, of the battle ship.  The ceremony was held September 30th, 1991 right here in Norfolk, VA.

Join us as we celebrate the life of this great vessle!

Operations will commence at 10AM local time on Saturday, September 26th 2009 and will run until 4:30PM.  Sunday, September 27th 2009 the station will start communicating at 12:30PM and complete its mission at 4:30PM.  We hope to talk to as many of you as we can and we have our BB-64 QSL card if you send us a SASE.
